Senior Program Manager (Policy and Programs)

The University of Miami’s Office of Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects related to community development, affordable housing, and climate resilience; conducting and overseeing research for affordable housing, community development, and climate resilience projects; ensuring the event / project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters; and building relationships with public, private, and non-profit community partners.  In addition, the Senior Program Manager will oversee and coordinate collaborative projects with consultants and community partners; oversee all aspects of grant projects with the Department of Public Housing and Community Development; assist in hiring process for VISTAs/grad students; train VISTAs/grad students in data collection, analysis, and GIS platforms; represent CCE at community meetings; seek out new grant opportunities; provide administrative support for grants and public programs; and meet regularly with the Founding Director to provide an update on project status and new opportunities for CCE. CCE Housing Research Assistant
The University of Miami’s Office of Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) is seeking a Housing Research Assistant (RA) to join its team of professionals. The RA will assist with data creation and analysis and research related to affordable housing and community development projects. We are seeking someone to work 20 hours per week for a monthly stipend of $2,700 per month. Communications and Public Relations Student Assistant (Federal Work Study)
The Office of Civic and Community Engagement is seeking a communications and public relations intern during Spring 2024 for assisting and supporting our office with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives.  Hours are flexible and depend on the student’s class schedule, and availability. Hours are mutually agreed upon, and should be between 15 and 20 hours per week during the Spring 2024 semester.
